The school opened its doors on 1st September 2008 at Redhill, Patrickswell in Limerick. Red Hill School is a recognised school of the Department of Education and Science, under the Patronage of the Rehab Group.

It is a school for children with autistic spectrum disorder and welcomes referrals for enrolment to the school.

Any student aged between 3 and 18 years who has a confirmed diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder will be considered for enrolment in accordance with Red Hill School's enrolment policies and procedures.".
