"Sensational Kids is a registered charity. It is the inspiration of parents who found it difficult to obtain any occupational therapy & sensory integration therapy for their child. Frustrated by a lack of services they set about forming a registered charity with the dream of providing a state of the art, not for profit, occupational therapy and sensory integration centre for children with special needs in County Kildare. With ongoing fundraising, dedication and commitment we aim to realise our dream by opening our centre later this year.
Sensational Kids is run entirely on a voluntary basis by a team of hard working and dedicated volunteers, many of whom have children with special needs. It is managed by a Board of Directors, all of whom volunteer their time, skills and services to the charity. Our Board of Directors is made up of representatives from the therapy, education, legal, and finance professions, as well as parents of children with special needs.".
