The Congregation of the Daughters of Wisdom, based at Cregg House, Sligo are pleased to announce the imminent launch of their new website to coincide with the name change to Wisdom Services. It is intended that the site will be up and running soon after Easter 2009. The site will provide up to date information on all our services located both on campus at Cregg House and in the Community.
The Daughters of Wisdom came to Sligo in 1955 to establish a residential centre for people with an intellectual disability. In the beginning Cregg House accommodated twenty-four residents and a community of eight sisters. From modest beginnings the services have gradually and consistently evolved and developed in order to meet emerging needs and demands and to keep abreast with the latest models of care. Today, Cregg House Services endeavour to offer value led services to approximately 200 individuals with intellectual disability, their families and advocates.
