Leitrim Autism Support Group for Parents
Having a child/children with Autism probably means you have experienced at least one of these emotions at one point or another. YOU are not alone, we are here to tell you that there are other parents out there that have been through this and are currently in the process of diagnoses. We believe in the age old saying A PROBLEM SHARED IS A PROBLEM HALVED.
That is why we have set up this support group. We still get angry, upset and totally bewildered, but we now have someone to share this experience with.

We do not stand in judgement or criticise, we want you to feel comfortable, and we want to let you know that we are here if you need a shoulder to cry on or just vent.
We also feel that no one has to be isolated, and hopefully once we have a network of parents in all areas, there will always be someone local to talk to, and this should hopefully go towards having a happier outlook.
