Aspergers Action Galway (AAG) was set up in 2006 as a voluntary parents support group with following aims and objectives:
To support, advise and provide information on all aspects of Aspergers Syndrome (AS) especially to affected individuals, parents, teachers, employers and health professionals etc. through an effective support network.
To promote social inclusion for AS individuals and to identify the ongoing needs of and solutions for AS individuals and their parents/carers and to represent the interests and needs of AS individuals at all levels of policy and planning activity.
To co-ordinate and assist where possible, the activities of all relative organisations involved in providing support and services to AS individuals and their carers.
To achieve the above aims we hold a members meeting on the second Tuesday of each month and new members are most welcome to these meetings which start at 8pm at RehabCare, Unit 9B, Liosban Business Park, Tuam Road, Galway.
