Funding for toy library in County Leitrim

Leitrim partnership have awarded a grant to RainChild in County Leitrim. This is to enable them to establish a (sensory) toy / book library for children within the Autism spectrum. This is great news and the group are currently considering some good ideas from their membership. They are still open to suggestions both for purchases and the running / administration of such a scheme. Please put on you thinking hats and get in touch with Catherine Beirne with any ideas

Leitrim Autism Support Group for Parents

Leitrim Autism Support Group for Parents

Having a child/children with Autism probably means you have experienced at least one of these emotions at one point or another. YOU are not alone, we are here to tell you that there are other parents out there that have been through this and are currently in the process of diagnoses. We believe in the age old saying A PROBLEM SHARED IS A PROBLEM HALVED.

That is why we have set up this support group. We still get angry, upset and totally bewildered, but we now have someone to share this experience with.
