This workshop is a “must” for anyone using multi-sensory equipment!

Agenda

9.45am Coffee and registration

10.00am Introduction. Creating the correct environment, colours, comfort, atmosphere, lighting, avoiding mistakes, going portable.

11.00am Using the Effects Projector to full potential. A “hands on” session which promotes confident use of this versatile piece of equipment for a wide range of uses including portability.

11.20am Coffee

11.30am Projection continued - create your own effects using techniques to pass on to clients.

12noon Additional lighting equipment, sound activation, mirror balls etc.cheaper alternatives

12.15pm Bubble tubes – what you really need to know!

12.30pm Fibre optic effects, use, maintenance, safety, creative ideas

1.00pm Lunch

1.45pm Smell! As a point of reference, a map or timetable, for association, the safety of essential oils.

2.00pm Ultra violet light – create dramatic and exciting effects safely and cheaply

2.20pm Switching – making choice using even the most limited ability. Encouraging control and offering empowerment.

2.50pm Massage mattress. A demonstration

3.00pm Planning a person centred, multi-sensory programme logical approach. Confidence, record keeping resource building, becoming a‘sensory aware’ service

3.30pm Questions and close of day
