Two guest speakers Nicola from HSF & Anita Garner Training Facilitator Dormant Accounts, for The Carers Association.
The Carers Association secured funding form the Dormant Account fund. This funding is to train Family Carers and is a great opportunity for family carers for their every day work but also going forward this accredited training will be an asset to carry. Remember you are a carer if you assist somebody in their every day life to maintain independence that they would not have if you did not do so. You do not have to be receiving the Carers Allowance or any welfare payment to be classified a carer. At some stage in everybody's life the caring role touches our lives.
