"As an employer I participated in Job Shadow in 2009. The Job Shadow Initiative provides a real opportunity to showcase the many talents and skills individuals with disabilities can bring to the workplace, it is a tremendous success and employers must be congratulated for their overwhelming response in supporting this very important IASE event.
This IASE National Job Shadow Initiative has the potential to be an excellent pathway to employment for individuals with a disability and I am delighted that forty nine jobs were secured as a direct result of National Job Shadow Day since 2008, in spite of the difficult economic climate".
