:) We like to congratulate Caroline Gurneen from Manorhamilton in County Leitrim who won the Christmas raffle ( a basket full of teddy bears and accessories ) at Bear Essentials Ireland.
The money from the raffle of €130 is going towards the RainChild Network.
We like to wish everyone a happy 2010 and a successful new year facing new challenges.
And there is no doubt that anyone effected in someway by autism or has any other special needs the challenges are always more difficult. We cannot wait for a government to look after us we have to provide help and support ourselves.

The Irish Red Cross has developed five unique two minute swine flu information videos.

If you have just ten minutes to spare you can learn:

· What exactly swine flu is?
· How to protect yourself and prevent the spread of the virus.
· What to do if you think you have swine flu.
· How to care for someone who is ill with swine flu.

The Variety Club of Ireland are organising another Santa Stroll this year. All proceeds from the walk will be divided equally between 4 charities: Variety Club of Ireland, IRISH AUTISM ACTION, St. Michael’s House and St. Joseph ’s Centre for the Visually Impaired.

The event takes place on Sunday December 6th at 11am. It will begin from the front entrance of Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre with Santa himself leading the way and continue across the road to St. Stephen’s Green. The stroll continues around the railings of the Green and finishes at the front gates. (about 45 mins. max.)
